Car shows, off road trucks and rock crawling UTV’s. That describes the last 4 weeks of our lives.

Most people see the show season as an opportunity for deals and pushing big sales. Although we do sell at these events, we see them as the best opportunity to meet and talk with people like you. We love getting your feedback on our products and showing off what is new or coming soon.
After the Sand Sports Show in mid September we loaded up our Giant Jack and took it to the OC Auto Show in Anaheim California. We were invited by OVR Magazine to display the jack along side new vehicle displays from Toyota, Jeep, Ford and more. OVR has organized a off road / Overland display at the LA Auto Show for the last few years and it has grown into it’s own section of the show. This year they were invited to bring it to the OC Auto Show and our Giant Jack was a great fit for the off road section. It was so much fun seeing the smiling faces of people as they walked around it and posed for pictures in front of it.

After the Auto Show we only had a couple of days to prepare for Off Road Expo. This year they moved the show Costa Mesa Ca. We were in great company near other brands like Raceline, KC, King and may others.

We all waited with baited breath as the gates opened to see if the venue change would be a success or if it would crash and burn in a blaze of glory. It turned out to be a huge success!

We were able to interact with so many new fans and reconnect with many of the hard-core off-road enthusiasts that we hadn’t seen in quite a long time. It was extremely flattering seeing so many Pro Eagle jacks mounted in the trucks at the show.

We also announced the winner of the Walker Evans tribute jack painted by Shayna Guy on Sunday just before the close of the show. We were a little nervous because we had a lot of friends and family that had entered to win the jack. We are surrounded by so many people that grew up as huge fans of Walker.
We all wanted to win it, myself included, but we were worried that it would appear that we had rigged the drawing. Well, none of us won, however the winner was from the industry and he decided to donate the jack back to RJ Anderson and the Evans family.
We want to thank Jonathan from Desert Squadron for generously donating it to the Evans family. We were able to raise hundreds of dollars that were donated to the Walker Evans foundation. Thank you to everyone that supported this tribute to Walker.

We had one weekend between Off Road Expo and UTV Takeover. We unloaded all of the show displays and reloaded for a week of driving on the rocks and dunes that make up Sand Hollow.
Last year there was a storm that blew in and literally blew away most of the vendors booths. This year rain showed up on the first official night of the show and it made for epic riding for the next few days. The event kick off was our Pit Stop Challenge on Tuesday night. This was probably our largest one ever with over 80 people signed up to compete! We were a little worried that the crowd would get bored after a while but this wasn’t the case at all. After close to an hour of head-to-head competition we closed out the night with the Rugged Radios blindfold challenge. This is a crowd favorite and it puts two teams of two against each other.
One person is blindfolded and is given instructions on jacking up the car and removing the tire through a Rugged Radios headset via a handheld radio. The fastest time of the night was a father daughter team who completed it in under a minute.

The rest of the week was spent on the trails with our customers. We were able to participate in a group ride with our friends at Polaris and the following day with DRT Motorsports. Both were amazing as they past through beautiful landscapes and even had a heli pacing the group getting video footage.

We packed up after the show on Saturday, sore, tired and extremely happy. We spend so much time at headquarters working on sales, marketing, product design / development and other projects that we sometimes forget why we started all of this. These trips really help to refuel our mental tanks and remind us why we started all of this so many years ago. Thank you for your continued support and we hope to make some dust with you on the trail soon.

Next up for us is Camp RZR in Glamis over Halloween weekend and then the Dirt Expo in Arizona in early December.
